Jeopardy has issued an apology aster using an “outdated and inaccurate” description in one of their clues in an episode earlier this week.
Savannah Guthrie, Today Show anchor, read the clue describing Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome as, “Grinch Syndrome because this organ is too small.” The answer was the heart. That’s when the backlash started.
Good morning @SavannahGuthrie, please ask @Jeopardy to address this. https://t.co/S1otovUsaY

Yesterday’s program included a clue about postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). After hearing from the community, we found we used an outdated and inaccurate term for this disorder, and we apologize.
