Federal Judge Jon Levy today, Oct. 13, declined to intervene to stop the Mills Administration requirement that healthcare workers be vaccinated against COVID-19.
In his ruling, Levy said that the plaintiffs failed to meet the requirements for an injunction. Oct. 29 is the deadline for health care workers to get vaccinated or lose their jobs.
The mandate’s effect already is being felt with dozens of health care workers opting to quit.
