Jermaine Phillips and Shanna Brown, both of Ontario, Canada, are accused of crossing the Maine border on Route 27, with 4.63 pounds of suspected cocaine.
They have been charged with with aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs.
The couple, who told authorities they entered the U.S. by mistake, were taken to the Franklin County Detention Center in Farmington.
