Sam’s Italian Foods, a tradition in central Maine since the first location opened in Lewiston in 1939 has been purchased by venture-capital firm Teamshares of New York.
Sam’s at one time had 14 locations.
John Boyan, a broker relations lead with Teamshares, told MaineBiz:
Nothing is changing with the new ownership other than becoming an employee-owned company.
The deal to hand off all locations of Sam's Italian Foods to the venture-capital firm Teamshares closed on December 1, according to MaineBiz.https://t.co/wVUEV9vLTR
