Alan Rose, 37, of Oakland has died from his Route 27 motorcycle accident this weekend.
According to the Sun/Journal, Rose was heading southbound toward Kingfield when he went into a corner and got a wheel into a gravel shoulder. It skidded, hit an embankment and the bike went airborne coming to a rest 176 feet from the roadway.
Rose was not wearing a helmet.
