Xavier Pelkey, 19, of Waterville has been charged in connection with an alleged plot to blow up a Chicago-area mosque.
He was originally indicted April 15, on a possession of unregistered destructive devices and now is facing an additional charge of conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists.
Prosecutors say Pelkey conspired with teens in the Chicago area and Kentucky to conduct the attack.
