77-year-old Lorraine Knox, who lived at 489 Ridge Road in Windsor, is believed to have perished in a fire Dec. 8.
The Office of Chief Medical Examiner will be conducting an examination to confirm her identity and also determine the cause of death.
Reports says Knox had been experiencing furnace problems and was using electric heaters.
