According to the US National Weather Service:
Accumulating snow is expected Tuesday into Wednesday. A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for the MidCoast and parts of the interior. Confidence is high that most areas will see 2-5 inches of snow, but uncertainty remains on whether or not a secondary low develops offshore. If it does it will lead to higher banding of snow, most likely near the MidCoast where amounts could exceed 6 inches. Stay tuned to www.weather.gov/gyx/winter for the latest information on this system and how it may impact any upcoming travel plans.
The main weather story leading up to Christmas will be our next round of snow. Both Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning will be slippery for travel. https://t.co/1wx09k46No
