Teen Girl Dies in Snowmobile Crash in Aroostook County

The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife says a 17-year-old girl died after a snowmobile crash in Washburn, Dec. 27.

Reports say a 17-year-old male was driving a snowmobile down Story Street with a 17-year-old female passenger at a high rate of speed and allegedly attempted to make a turn while going to fast and struck a curb and flipped over.

Both teenagers were ejected.
