Early Thursday morning, Jan. 8, a tractor-trailer crashed on I-95 northbound near mile marker 141 in Clinton. Initial reports indicated the tractor-trailer had left the roadway and struck the center median.
The driver was transported to Thayer Hospital in Waterville by Clinton Ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
The tractor-trailer was carrying grocery goods.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Due to the commercial vehicle being located in the median, an extensive recovery operation was required.
