CBS 13, WGME reports that some residents in Augusta are worried about a proposal by Central Maine Power to expand operations at their CMP facility on Old Winthrop Road.
CMP says the facility, built in 1957, has outgrown its current structure and needs a second building.
Among the residents concerns are that the expansion is “too big and will bring in even more noise to their neighborhood.”
The planning board will hear arguments about the issue at an upcoming meeting.
