UPDATE: The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Jacob McInnis Jr. of Whitefield is accused of shooting at a home on Head Tide Hill Road in Alna, on Jan. 6.
McInnis is charged with with aggravated criminal mischief and reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon.
No one was home at the time of the incident.

ORIGINAL POST: The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a house being shot on Head Tide Hill Road in the town of Alna.
There was no one home at the time of the shooting. When the owners arrived, they found 6 bullet holes in the side of the house facing the driveway. Some of the bullets went through windows into the interior of the home.
Some bullet fragments were recovered from the scene, and they appeared to be from a small caliber firearm.
The Maine Warden’s Service Evidence Response Team assisted LCSO with processing the scene. This appears to be an isolated incident and LCSO does not believe there is any ongoing threat to the community.
