A University of Maine student has passed away after being exposed to toxic gas exposure at the Woodland Pulp Mill in Baileyville.
Kasie Malcom, a junior majoring in chemical engineering, died Wednesday, Jan. 28.
CBS 13, WGME reports that the mill’s spokesperson, Scott Beal, confirmed that one person died and two were hospitalized after exposure to a gas.
