Brewer Police posted Monday, Feb. 9, about the arrest of 28-year-old Kelcea McPhail of Corinna on drug charges.

McPhail was found unresponsive at a stop sign.

From the Brewer Police Department:

On 01/31/26, Officer Ludwig was dispatched to a report of an unresponsive female in the driver’s seat of a vehicle stopped at a stop sign. Upon arrival, Officer Ludwig conducted an investigation and determined the operator was impaired. The driver, Kelcea McPhail (28, Corinna), was arrested and illegal drugs were located on her person. McPhail was transported to the Penobscot County Jail, where she was searched again upon arrival. During that search, additional illegal drugs were discovered concealed on her person. As a result of this incident, McPhail was charged with Unlawful Possession of Schedule “W” Drugs (Class C), Trafficking Prison Contraband (Class C), and Operating Under the Influence (Class D).
