Two people had to be rescued from a car that crashed onto its side on the Maine Turnpike north on ramp in Auburn, Feb. 11.

The Auburn Fire Department was able to stabilize the vehicle and extricate two patients through the roof.

One patient was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Maine Turnpike Authority and Maine State Police also responded to the crash. No word yet on the cause.
