The Ticonic Bridge connecting Waterville and Winslow will be closed to all traffic from March 9 to March 16.
The Maine Department of Transportation says all travelers must follow the posted detour routes.
Vehicle traffic will be detoured south via the Carter Memorial Bridge, and pedestrian traffic will be detoured north via the Two Cent Bridge.
On March 16, eastbound traffic will reopen at 6am, while westbound traffic will remain closed.
Westbound vehicles should continue to use the Carter Memorial Bridge detour until further notice.
