Wiscasset Police say 41-year-old Terry Couture has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, arson, and various other charges.
The arrest stems from an incident, March 9, at 154 Beechnut Hill Road. Couture allegedly intentionally set a bed on fire following a disagreement while he and his girlfriend were both in the bed.
The fire was extinguished, and no serious injuries were reported.
