Stabbing in Possible Mattawamkeag Home Invasion

The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to an alleged stabbing in Mattawamkeag, during a possible home invasion.

The individual was reportedly stabbed at a residence on Indian Avenue in Mattawamkeag, Thursday, March 12.

As Deputies responded to the scene, it was determined that the victim had fled in a vehicle to another residence. Deputies arrived at the second location, located the victim, and confirmed their injuries. The victim was then transported to Penobscot Valley Hospital in Lincoln for treatment. Deputies and the Maine State Police arrived at the location of the original complaint and secured the scene.
