Authorities are searching for two suspects in connection with a cannabis shop burglary, two attempted break-ins at gun stores, and a vehicle theft in Androscoggin County.
The burglaries occurred overnight March 13, in Turner, Auburn and Sabattus.
Officials are seeking the public’s assistance with the identities of the two individuals depicted in the photos below.

Androscoggin County, Maine — On March 13, 2026, at approximately 3:21 AM, the Maine State Police received a commercial burglary alarm at Northeastern Firearms located at 868 Auburn Road in Turner. The State Police notified the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office at 3:24 AM and deputies were dispatched. At approximately 3:35 AM, Corporal Gregory Pealatere was responding was southbound on in the vicinity of Vacationland Cannabis located at 1520 Auburn Road in Turner to the alarm call when he encountered a vehicle without headlights. The vehicle pulled onto Auburn Road from the parking lot of Vacationland Cannabis, which was closed at the time, and began to flee from Corporal Pealatere. The vehicle was identified as a gray 2024 Ford F150 Lightening. Corporal Pealatere lost sight of the vehicle near the intersection of Main Street and Turner Center Road in Turner.
Deputies went to Vacationland Cannabis and discovered that the business had been burglarized, and an undisclosed number of products were stolen from the business. Deputies also responded to the initial alarm call at Northeastern Firearms and found there had been an attempted burglary, however entry was not gained. Deputies obtained a license plate for the F150 which was found to have been stolen from a residence off of Marston Hill Road in Auburn. The vehicle was later recovered in the area of 118 Pennell Street in Westbrook with the assistance of the Westbrook Police Department. Earlier in the morning, at approximately 1:08 AM, the Sheriff’s Office responded along with the Sabattus and Lewiston Police Departments to First Due Firearms located at 62 Greene Street in Sabattus for an attempted burglary. That incident is believed to be connected to the burglaries in Turner. The burglary in Sabattus is being investigated by the Sabattus Police Department. Video obtained during the investigation has developed two suspects.
Suspect 1: White slender male with North Face jacket with black athletic pants and black sneakers.
Suspect 2: White slender male with gray zip up Alaskan Hardgear jacket with the logo “Spang Builders” embroidered on left chest, blue sweatpants and red sneakers with white soles.
Physical evidence has been recovered at the crime scenes and from the stolen vehicle.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
