55-year-old Scott Talbot of Bangor, is accused of allegedly hitting someone in the face with a bow, Sunday night, March 29.
Talbot has been charged with aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon.
Bangor Police were called to a residence on Sidney Street for a man who had reportedly been injured by a bow. Officers arrived and found the victim with significant, but not life-threatening, injuries to his face. Officers determined that he had been injured when another man, later identified as Talbot, who had come over to sell a compound bow allegedly struck him in the face with the end of the weapon. The victim was transported to an area hospital and was treated.
Officers attempted to locate Talbot but were unsuccessful that day. The next day, March 30, officers located Talbot and the bow that was involved and placed him under arrest.
