The Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 5th Annual Kennebec River Brewfest August 6th, from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Mill Park in Augusta.

This year’s Brewfest features a variety of local breweries, wineries, distilleries, and meaderies. A meadery is a winery or brewery that produces honey wines or meads and which sales it commercially.

With over 60 different offerings to choose from, Brewfest attendees can get a taste of the craft beer and spirit industry in Maine. The Chamber is excited to present an event that brings the community together and allows local Maine breweries and distilleries to showcase their business. Food vendors, lawn games, and more will all be available at Kennebec River Brewfest.

Brewfest attendees will be given special wrist bands to identify them, including a wristband for the designated driver of the group. Early bird tickets for the event are $30 for the month of June and $40 for the month of July. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $50. All tickets include a souvenir tasting glass, unlimited four-ounce beer tastings and half-ounce spirit tastings, and admission from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. Designated driver tickets are $5 per person and provide access to the Brewfest and complimentary water.

Attendees can dance while they sip at this year’s Brewfest. There will be a stage with live music located in the Brewfest with a lineup of local talent starting with The Tourmalines, Rob Burnell, Ellis Falls, and Country Road ending the day with a variety of country sounds.
