Daniel Ross, 29, a Kennebec County sheriff’s deputy, is accused of assaulting his wife at home in West Gardiner. He was off-duty during the alleged incident.
Ross has been indicted on multiple charges, including five counts of domestic violence assault, by a Kennebec County Grand Jury.
He is currently on administrative leave with pay.
