Good news for Augusta drivers as the left turn onto Whitten Road from Western Avenue has now reopened. According to the Maine Department of Transportation, crews have started removing the temporary bridge on Western Avenue.
Most of the temporary bridge will be gone by the end of next week. Stay alert and watch for changing traffic patterns in the work zone.
