Amazon is looking to build a new distribution center in central Maine.
The facility would be a 3.6-acre facility in Waterville. The parking for the center would mostly be in Sidney.
The project could produce 150 to 250 part time and full time jobs.
The next step of the process includes the developer presenting the project to the city’s planning board.
Amazon is looking to build a 159,000 square foot distribution center on the Waterville-Sidney town line. Developers held an informational meeting hoping to get people on board.
