An 83-year-old man died yesterday afternoon, Dec. 27, after his pickup truck was hit by an Amtrak Downeaster in Massachusetts. The train was on it’s way to Brunswick.
There were no reported injuries to crew members or the 80 passengers onboard.

The person who died was an 83-year-old male. He was the only one inside the vehicle when it was struck. Foul play is not suspected and the crash is still under investigation.
