Brad Paisley and Jimmie Allen’s duet “Freedom Was a Highway” took the No. 1 spot on both the Billboard and Mediabase charts, marking Paisley’s 25th No. 1 song and Allen’s 3rd No. 1.   Allen co-wrote “Freedom Was a Highway” with Ash Bowers and Matt Rogers, and the song is featured on his album “Bettie James Gold Edition.”
