UPDATE: Due to the ongoing missing person search of Rebecca Dorr of Brunswick, the Brunswick Parks & Recreation Department says trails over weekend, March 21-22, will be closed.

The Maine Warden Service will be assisting other search and rescue organizations, including K-9 teams and snowmobile units, in their effort to locate Dorr.

Residents are cautioned to stay off the trails at the Town Commons in Brunswick on the west side of Route 123, as well as the Perimeter Trail on the east side of Route 123 between Wilson Street gate and Merriconeag Road parking lot.

Additional human scents will interfere with K-9 search and rescue efforts.

The Brunswick Police Department says 56-year-old Rebecca Dorr of Brunswick went missing from her home at 272 Maine Street in Brunswick.

Dorr left sometime between 3pm on Sunday, Jan. 25 and Monday morning.

It is believed that Dorr suffers from mental health issues and may be wearing a green jacket and knit hat.

Officials believe she walked away from her home and did not take a vehicle.

Anyone who has seen her or has information pertaining to her whereabouts is asked to call Brunswick Police Department at 207-725-5521, Ext. 1.
