Lewiston Police responded Thursday afternoon, April 30, just after 2:00pm to a reported shooting in the area of 235 Bartlett Street.
Officers quickly secured the scene, and a suspect was taken into custody within minutes. A firearm was recovered.
There are no reported injuries and officials say there is no ongoing threat to the public.
