Bangor Police have arrested 20-year-old Hunter Targon of Bangor, after officers responded to a call from a resident that someone was trying to kick their door in.
From the Bangor Police Department:
On Thursday, March 5, at approximately 03:15 a.m., Bangor Police responded to a residence on Center Street for the report of someone trying to break into the apartment. Officers found the described male and later identified him as Targon. The caller said they just wanted Targon to leave and not return. Officers gave Targon a warning not to return and he was sent on his way. Officers remained on scene for a few minutes after Targon walked off, and noticed that he was returning to the property and used a separate door to gain entry. Officers then observed Targon attempting to get into the same residence and threatening the original caller. Targon physically resisted when officers attempted to take him into custody.
Targon has been charged with burglary and criminal trespass, among other charges.
