The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple separate domestic disputes on Monday, April 27, resulting in three arrests.

The first incident occurred at approximately 4:20pm in Burlington, where deputies arrested 30-year-old Olivia Carpentier. Investigators determined that Carpentier had assaulted and threatened her partner and had also threatened to burn the residence down. She reportedly resisted arrest and refused to comply with commands.

Later that evening, at approximately 8:22pm in Milford, deputies arrested 71-year-old Gary Mills, on a charge of Domestic Violence Terrorizing. Authorities say Mills made threats to set the residence on fire during a domestic dispute.

In a third case, deputies responded to a late report of a domestic incident in Corinth. 60-year-old Linwood Hamilton was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence Assault after he allegedly kicked a chair out from underneath his significant other during an argument, causing injuries.

All three individuals were transported to the Penobscot County Jail.
