17-year-old server Abigail Sprague, a Brewer High School Student is being called a hero after helping to saving a customer at Mad Kat’s Restaurant, where she works.
Reports say a customer collapsed Sunday morning, April 267, and was lying on the floor with no pulse. That’s when Abigail put her CPR certification to use. Along with the restaurant’s owner, Kathleen Markwith, she performed chest compressions and mouth to mouth.
The customer was later taken to a hospital and is expected to have surgery for a pacemaker.
